Is my betta okay?

Does my betta seem okay? I notice a gap between his fin and stuff lol.

He has some shredded fins. I would just watch itt for a few days and make sure he has clean/warm water.

He could be biting them, but more likely he is tearing them on the plants and decorations in his tank.

I agree....it looks as if hes snagged his fins on those plastic plants there.
IMO, no plastic plant is totally safe for a long-finned betta. As soft as they may feel and even with the panty hose test, there is always the risk of snagging and ripping.
Your little guy should heal up just fine with a little time, not need to make any changes so long as he is in a heated, clean environment already. But you may want to look into replacing those plants with silk or live ones to prevent any future damage.

Thanks everyone. Well I couldn't order my live plants because they ran out, so I'm going to put in Silk plants from Petco instead.

What should I continue to do until it comes in?

Keep an eye on him to see if its gets worse. If he looses alot of fin in a short period of time, he is most likely bitting his own fins. Longer finned VT's and HM's tend to bite their fins because they are annoying

I would definitely blame those spiky plants for the damage on his anal fin.. fun as they are, not ideal for bettas who have fins like tissue paper and who like to lay in their plants.
His tail looks as if he had bitten off pieces though, as they aren't "rips" but rather missing chunks.
