Traveling

If I am going to be going out of town and decided that I am going to take my bettas with me. What will I need in order to transport them safely from point A to Point B. Its not that far maybe about an half hour. The only thing is it is cold outside.

Unless you're going to be gone for weeks I wouldn't move them. But if you must I'd get some critter keepers or some square Tupperware type containers with lids, punch small holes in the lids for air, this'll help keep the water from sloshing out or the Betta from jumping out. Maybe get a bigger one that the smaller ones can sit in (don't know how many you need) that way you can heat the one bigger container rather than having to heat multiple containers. Of course you'll need to take your water changing items & food. Hope this makes sense.

Ya this helps alot the reason why I am asking is because I am actually going to be gone for a month. With none to take care of the little guys. I dont have to travel to far but enough. I just hate stressing them out so much. The place I am going is home and we have all supplies there and tanks for them so I only need the fish. They really hate traveling its almost like they know that it is getting time to travel because they will hide and not come out for anything.
