Leopard snails?

I am planning to buy some leopard snails but when i did some research,the only think i find is leopard slug.
I want to buy snails because i want them to clear the algae in my fry tank.
Will they harm my fries?

I'm not sure about snails in a fry tank, but I think red cherry shrimp would also work. (I have heard ghost shrimp are apt to munch on fry, but this could be anectdotal). You might try amano shrimp, be warned they are solely algae eaters. And will need to be supplemented after with algae wafers.
