Any type of "meal" is the left overs that get ground up. Do fish need corn? Probably not and corn gluten is most likely a filler.

and Hikari has also recently changed their betta biogold pellets back.... to have fish as the first ingredient.
Nutritionally....I would say frozen tubifex? not sure f they sell frozen blackworms...

Where do you get some? I checked meat pies there are fillers.

It's one of the healthiest processed food you can get for your bettas. processed food has to have filler to maintain its freshness and keep up with the nutritional balance because some nutrients may be lost because of the way the food is processed.

a true no filler food would be freeze dried, frozen or live foods. I'm feeding my fish live blood worms right now.

Yea, Repashy would be the best for dry.
As for frozen, go with hikari, they run theirs through radiation. Sounds bad but it kills off protozoans that aren't killed during freezing. There's been a huge issue with bloodworms causing illness lately.

Do you think a Carter will eat repashy? Really Bloodworms causeing sickness? What are the chances of Freeze Dried making him sick?
