First Aid For Bettas

Hi! I just got a Halfmoon male betta and I would like to know,
what is in your 'first aid' kit for treating a betta of sickness/disease?
The best medicine and treatments?

Most things can be helped with either Aquarium salt or unsecented Epsom salt. An antibacterial medication is also good to have on hand such as triple sulfa or furan 2.

do not use bettafix or anything else with fix in the name

I treated my betta's clamped fins with Dajana Aloe Gel which can be only found in Europe so I guess it can be substituted with something similar that contains Aloe Vera. The gel relaxes the fish and has soothing effect. It also helps healing any physical damage. That's all my experience with betta illness.

I prefer to go holistic. These are what I always have on hand
*hospital tank and small tank heater
*aquarium salt
*epsom salt
*indian almond leaf (always present in the tank for preactive treatment and natural immune resistance)

I use this as a guide for building my betta first-aid kit except I keep Fish Mox (Amoxicillin) and Fish Pen (Penicillin) as my broad spectrum antibiotic treatment. I am assuming it's the same thing they have listed just a different brand name. Someone correct me if I am wrong on that please.
