What is this!!

I took my snail out of the tank 2 weeks ago into a bowl..I didnt know what to do with it cause my betta hates it..so today i was changing the snails water..and put it in a small glass with clean water..when i came back to get it i found something that looks like a worm..what could it be..should i throw away the snail? All that dirty thing came out of the snail the water was clean when i put it there..soo anyone with a clue?

Could it be a bug that fell in? Or is it swimming like it should be in water?

Yes its swimming really good!! And i dont think it fell in ive never seen anyhthing like it before at home..
