my 1st crowntail...i think hes a pineapple

So my son & i decided to get this guy at Petco while getting some dog food (isnt that the way it always happens?). I believe hes a pineapple. My son named him Apocalypse. I think with some good food and good water conditions, hes gonna be very handsome!

pineapples usually have a brown or black rim around their fins (like the rind of a pineapple, hence the name) i think he's a standard yellow, but he's certainly a beautiful one.

It's really difficult to see in the pic but he does have the black scaling on the front half of his body. I'll see if I have a pic that shows it off more....

He may very well be a standard yellow or a VERY poor quality pineapple, either way hes a cute new addition to the family! For some reason i thought pineapples were supposedly meant to have black on the scales, giving them a pineapples look but also have seen the black edge on fins being considered pineapples. Ill just consider him my lil yellow buddy.
