ZooMed Betta Food

Hello fellow Betta parents! I wanted some second opinions on the ZooMed BETTA micro floating Betta pellet food. In late 2011 I stumbled apon a big red VT male that I had to have! He was fully grown when I got him from a local pet store (they were unable to tell me how old he was as their "fish keeper" had left for the day). I bought him his own type of food as he wasnt going to be kept in the same room as my other Betta. Sadly he died very suddenly two days shy of a year of having him. I was wondering if anyone has researched or used ZooMed before? My new Betta, a itty bitty male Crowntail, is too small to be eating pellets that are the size of ZooMed's. He's currently eating Hikari Betta Bio-Gold, but I wonder if it's safe for him to eat the zoomed once he's bigger? Any advice is appreciated!

BTW I thought it did wonders for his color (the red VT).I do have a YouTube video of him if someone was interested.

As far as ingredients, they aren't the BEST, but they certainly aren't the worst :). If they have been working for you, I would keep feeding them :)
