Which one for a 5.5 gallon betta tank?

I cant decide which would be better...

This with the flow turned down all the way:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/cr/B006K...3888956&sr=8-2

Or this with the flow turned up all the way:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005VE...sr=8-1&pi=SL75

What do you think?

Neither, this one is the best hands down, and has a cycle guard.

Thank you for your input, but I wanted to know which option would be better out of the two that I listed.

Okay, I see a few flaws with these, one of which being it's 1 piece media. But if you're set on these I'd say the 60 one, adjusting the flow to what you feel is appropriate and not bothering your fish

I actually like the one piece media because it can all be dedicated to BB! Thanks for your opinion! :)

You're welcome! But keep in mind if you are changing/rinsing the media you lose a large portion of the BB you're trying to maintain. Whereas with 2 or 3 piece media when you change one, the other one/two supplement it to regain BB and help avoid mini clcles and the negatives associated with it. However, it is WAY better than no filter. Let me know what you do when it's said and done.

Oh yeah for sure! I already planned that if I get a filter that only has one spot for media, when it is falling apart and I need to change it, i will just cut out a piece of the old one and stuff it in with the new one until it is seeded :). It is also nice having two slots though, i agree, because I have a marina slim s10 with two slots and when I need to change it, i just change one and then change the other one a couple weeks later. I just like these azoo filters because they seem gentle and they are simple and I like simple :). I just want to know which one would put out enough flow but still be gentle enough :)

Yes as a rule of thumb, your water should be filtered 3x per hour, so it's just enough.
