Are fish sensitive to sound?

I need ti move my beta Guppy's tank to put up my christmas tree. The only other place I can put him is next to the TV in the living room.

Will he be okay so close to the speaker?

I have one of mine directly under the TV & it doesn't seem to bother him in the least. But I would imagine if were extremely loud & on all the time it would stress him.

Don't quote me on this, but when my cousin goes fishing he always says it's the vibration of your feet on the ground and not the sound of your voice that scares them off. My betta doesn't seem to like moving light but he doesn't really mind sound. Just make sure that no heat from the TV is affecting the temperature in his tank. ;)
