Bertie updates

Dear all,
Bertie my betta seems to not like his pellets.
We got him a heater for his tank and a small plastic plant and we make sure the water in the tank is treated with the conditionner.
I tried pellets on him for the first time yesterday ( gave him 3 )- he ate one and spat out the other 2. He's done the same thing today.
I am a little concerned as Bertie was on the fish stone food before and even though the Petsmart person told me that bettas take a while to adjust to a new food, I just wanted to make sure that this is normal for a betta?

Yes, this is normal. They are picky eaters and it can take a while to adjust to new food. You can ask the petstore what they fed him and maybe see about switching to that brand/type if you want.

I recommend sticking with what you have a while longer.
