beta fish care: tank temp

hey all if you can awesur my questions how do you test the temp of your tank the one I have isn't one that can have a heater it's a gold fish tank just got it too so if you could help me with that it would be wonderful. thanks

Internal thermometers can be used.:)

The external thermometers that you stick on the side give a sort of combination of tank temperature and room temperature, probably closer to room temperature, so the internal ones are much better as they are actually submerged in the water.
