WONDERFUL Pet Shop

My husband and I came across this pet shop called Bluefish Aquarium. They are AMAZING. The people that work there actually know everything about their fish. The WHOLE store is fish an aquarium stuff and I can tell that customers there are "Regulars" which his fantastic.

They have the most beautiful tank set ups and so many different fish. We go in there now just to look at the fish, it's almost like a public aquarium lol.

Anyways, they have this section of JUST betta stuff, plants, heaters, tanks, etc. I didn't see one tank under 1.5 gallons and the bettas for sale were in larger glass jars, enough to fit like 7 or 8 bettas in there! They had decoration and plants in ALL of them and there were probably about 20 for sale. They were happy and beautiful, wiggling around, following you, etc. It made me happy to know that this place cares about their fish. Some of the fish are even owend by the employees! lol, they will have like "Sammy's Naso Tang" so basically tehy own them, they just keep them there. I will support these local mom and pop shops any day before stepping foot in another pet store. I dont care if I'm paying double.

We have gone there so much already this past month they know us by name, haha. They even provide pre-cycled water (for salt water aquariums) but still. They are the best. The most hilarious thing is that ALL of the freshwater fish in the tanks (especially cichlids) will follow you and/or your hand everywhere lol they think you are going to feed them.

Thanks for sharing the link, though it is far from me (I'm in Miami, FL) I would love to mail order from them. Good shops like this should be supported by our beta community.
