Betta Fish Coloring

So I've just recently wanted to know what kind of coloring my betta fish has. I've looked online and read about the different types of coloring a fish could have and their patterns and I need some help classifying what kind of pattern he's got!

I would say he's either a cambodian, or multicolored. It's not so easy to say... it's like he's multicolored on the verge of cambodian.
Anyway, that's just my opinion. :)
Your crowntail looks like a double-double ray too.

It's like a variation of crown tail. The rays that branch off his caudal fin determines what type he is. As far as I know, there is single ray, double ray, double-double ray, cross ray, and random ray. Crown tails come in such a wide variety.
These pictures show a few variants. (NOT MY PICTURES!!) The color image is an example of a double-double ray. Basically the ray splits into two separate rays, then those rays split once more.
Random ray is not shown here, but basically it's like a randomized assortment of rays.
I looked into crown tails because I have one too. Mine is a cross ray.

Hahaha, OH! That's pretty neat. His Caudal fin is a double ray whereas his top and bottom fins are single :p Ha, yes.... there were too many 'rays' in that paragraph!

Hey there,

You have a beautiful betta! I would say that he is a cambodian bi-colour. Very Nice Cambodian indicates his light fleshy coloured body and bi-colour because he has two colours blue and red. I am no expert but that is my opinion on what colour he is.

No problem I have had cambodian bettas change colour quite dramatically over a period of time so who knows what your boy will turn out like, it's just like a lucky dip
