Talking New tank is done!

I got my silk plants in the mail today. Now my new tank is done and I'm in the process of hopefully getting DaBaDee to use the new ones so I can remove is plastic one. He also has Gary the snail to keep him company, along with Patrick.

AND the new tank and fish..

Your tanks are so bright and colorful! Your bettas have really nice coloring, too. The second one looks like he was dip dyed.

Thanks :) I had bought the plants before I even saw my new betta and was already planning on using the colorful plants in the new tank... It just so happens that the colors of the plants go very well with his colors.
His dorsal fin has also changed from blue to pink since I got him, yesterday :p

Yep. This is the first picture I took of him yesterday.

The colors look a bit darker in the other pictures because of the positioning of the light and the plant behind him :p

Either way he's very pretty.
Does he have a name yet?

I was thinking about naming him Mitsu (meet-su, like, Mitsubishi), meaning three, because he is my third betta fish in my entire lifetime, but I haven't made a final decision just in case I happen to find another name I like better. Mitsubishi means three diamonds, so I could name him that and call him Mitsu for short. Not sure how I feel about naming my fish after a car, haha, although I'm really going for the underlying meaning.

Someone also suggested the name Bahari (I think) in some language I can't remember that started with an S haha. It means Ocean. I like it, too.

I want an elegant, unique yet somewhat simple name that has meaning :p but of course I usually have strange tastes in names and whats elegant, unique and simple to me probably won't be to someone else.

Swahili, I believe. I've seen it somewhere. :D

You could always name him fish in another language. In Japanese (if I remember correctly because I haven't taken Japanese in over a year) is sakana. You could name Sakana, and it would mean fish. lol I'm not very creative.
