talk to me about sharks

does anyone keep or know much about keeping small shark species in home aquariums??

i know the bala shark and red tail shark arent really sharks as they have no teeth,but they just resemble sharks, i found a site that said bala sharks reach 18 inches and require to be in schools of 6 or more,but it didnt go into detail about what siz aquarium needed..

is there any nice small fresh or salt water shark type fish that can be kept in a home aquarium 60 gallons or less? or what would be a minumum size aquarium needed to house some nice sharks??

indeed but they look like sharks :) id go for a school of bala but i just could never have a tank big enough for them

If I rememer right red tails grow 6 inches.

checked red tails on youtube,very nice lookin fish but i came across a video of a rainbow shark also,seems to be very similar except all his fins are red ,really beautifull fish

I don't know much about the species you're talking about other than that they get rather large and can be aggressive. However, I'd suggest checking out the TFK side of the forum - they should be able to tell you as much info as you need and then some.
