But in a small tank you need plenty of water changes. I would go too 5 100 percents.

I've been doing 100% changes because he had some fin rot. When that goes away for good, I will go back to cleaning 50%. How can 1/4 a pea hurt him like 2 weeks later? He only ate it once. I am in the middle of treatment. I don't see how anyone's answers are answering my question besides letsgetkracken. The way I am cleaning and the medicine I have been giving him are all things dozens of people on this site have suggested, plus research of my own.

I read Clown Plecos can be aggressive so I would not keep Clown Plecos and Bettas together.

DarkMoon17's disease and treatment sticky recommends 100% daily water changes for internal parasites. I think 100% water changes would probably be a good idea until you finish treatment, because you don't want to end up overdosing your fish.

Choclate Betta, you lost me when you started talking about clown plecos. What sheet for 20 gallon what? I'm confused.
