My aquariums

Since I am new I thought I would let you all know my current set up. Okay, I have a 35 hexagon with 2 tiger oscars, 2 senegal bichirs, 1 male orange spotted sunfish, and one twig catfish. Dont worry, everything is small still and its only a grow out. okay, next i have a 10 gallon hexagon with a breeding pair of 2" black convicts. Now onto my bettas! I have a 2.5 with a male king betta, heated and filtered with a red sea nano filter. I have a 2 gallon critter keeper with a solid white delta tail male betta, its heated and filtered with a tetra 2-10i air driven filter. I have a 1.5 gallon cube aquarium with a cambodian red veiltail female betta, its heated and filtered with a tetra 2-10i air driven filter. Then my smallest one is my newest addition from today. It is a 1 gallon corner aquarium, it has a almost white crowntail betta, the tank is heated and filtered with a tetra 2-10i air driven filter. The king betta and the cambodian red betta have spawned in a 5.5 and i currently am trying to raise the fry. I am going to try and breed my delta tail and crowntail female once i get ahold of another aquarium i could use to spawn them. Never breed betas before so this is all new to my and any advice is very much appreciated!

Is the 35 Hexagon a few hundeed gallons or 35 gallons?

If its 35 gallons that tank is extremely overstocked. Why Did you say Ha?

im aware, but like i said it is a grow out. the oscars are both 3" the senegals are 3.5", the sunny is 4" and the twig cat is 5". they will be upgraded as soon as i get the money.

I am aware of the size requirement but I believe that I will be able to get by with a 125 that is well filtered and frequent water changes in it. Like I said this tank is merely a grow out, It gets a 50% W/C 2 times a week and uneaten food removed after 30 min. There is no definate size that I will be getting, I will get the biggest i can afford off of craigslist.

Sorry to tell you but 125 gallon seems too small.

How do you feel a 125 would be to small?

Just the Oscar will grow atleast 12 inches. The 2 Oscars need 100 gallons.
