Help!!

My living female Cleo isn't doing so good. She has a warm tank and no gravel at the bottom so I can get the left over food out. She was in a tank w/ her dead sister. Rose wouldn't stop beating her up. I took out Cleo and put her in her recovery tank. She has severe but marks. I treat her with AQ. I can't stand living without my baby and I can't put her down. Can anybody help?

What is the temperature of the water?

How big is the quarantine tank?

How often is that tank cleaned?

Did you pre dissolve the salt before adding?

And can you get a picture?

How does she act? Does she eat?

Temp. 80
Size About 1 gallon. She doesn't do well in bug habitats
Cleaning Twice a week
Salt. I put it in and wait 30 minutes before putting her back in
Picture. Not now.
Behavior she swims around when I'm in there. She eats 2 pellets a day. She sleeps most of the time. I've snuck in their and she swims even w/ me gone.

If she's still swimming and eating alright, keep treating her as you are. She could still pull out of this.

Agreed. I have had a female who decided to investigate a fallen ornament, and sliced herself open from the hole in the bottom and she lived. I also had a calm female betta in a sorority go crazy and attack the second-up betta, who was floating when I woke. She survived too! Bettas are very stubborn, even in times of trouble! Keep doing what you are doing.

If by chance she passes away do not be hard on yourself. Remember: YOU did all that you could to give her a fighting chance.
