So I got my new betta on Tuesday and on Thursday night I noticed that he looked a little bloated (maybe) so I fasted him on friday. The bloat looks so subtle that you can hardly tell it's there. I tried getting a picture of what I was seeing without success.
Then, today, I noticed what I think (or hope) is poo on the bottom of the tank. I had to work yesterday and all weekend so I won't have much time to watch him to see if he poos to make sure. It looks like a freeze-dried bloodworm, and I haven't fed him any.
So am I looking at this totally backwards? Instead of being bloated, do you guys think he's too skinny? He's still pretty small in size. Also, one of his pelvic fins is shorter than the other and curled, but it's been that way so I don't think I need to worry..

Sorry for the picture, I was having a hard time getting one from the side.

Here's what I think is the poo, lol xD
