Spoonhead?

So I'm learning more about Bettas - and now I'm wondering, does my VT have a spoonhead? And are there any health considerations if he is? (I wouldn't think there are, but I'm asking anyway. And yes, I'm keeping him, regardless of what he is!)

Don't take my word for it, I'm not an active breeder/expert on form but I don't think so. It looks a bit more like an uneven top-line to me rather then a spoonhead.

after googling some images it seems yours is not. spoonheads are much more defined with kind of a hunchback.

Iv'e never heard of that term, but it made me laugh. I'm sorry I don't know, but he is a very handsome blue...

he's got a bit of a steeply sloped topline, but not a spoonhead.

No, not spoon head nor hunched back. He only has a steep top line.

I believe this is more like a spoonhead/hunchback (why I call him Quasimodo heh).. love this little bugger..

The next set is to the extreme - to me that's just a sad deformity that shouldn't of grown.. but some people like the spoonhead form.
