Black or White Mosquito Larvae

I'm thinking about adding a little bit more to my bettas diets(they already get frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia) and I've heard that mosquito larvae are really good for them. I can't really do live so, I was thinking about doing frozen. Is that still okay? What's the difference between the two and is either one better for a betta?
