Fish-isims!!

So apparently Shosta doesn't like the dark... lol he flares at it! I just noticed it today so I couldn't resist sharing :D

Anyway, Shosta has other... Shosta-isims, he "mouths" at me when I'm about to feed him... like, he'll come up to the surface and sit there and open and close his mouth like a hungry koi *teehee* too cute <3

Anyone else have fish with unique fish-isims? ^^

Aww, that's cute ^^ I wonder what he would do if he was given the aquatic version of bubble wrap? (if it existed lol)

If I trace along the top of the tank, Mizuchi will get swim up to my finger, because he thinks he's about to be fed.

Chouko is afraid of the lone red pebble in his tank. He won't go near it.

Azul likes to dive-bomb his food and, after he's eaten it, puff himself up all proud and do victory laps around his tank. Occasionally I see him open his mouth for a bit like he's singing.

Lemon head butts her snail whenever the mood strikes her

Neville flares at everything, even the plant he loves to sleep on. Had to take down his backdrop the first two hours I put it up.. he flared so much he almost blew a gill.

Pongo eats the snail's Algae wafers.

My old betta, Timeaus, would come up to the glass when I put my face by his bowl, but he was scared as all get out of my finger, and would swim in reverse as fast as he could to escape it!

Lychee LOVES food time. Too much. He gets so impatient with me dropping his food pellets, he will jump at my fingers to try and knock it out. He's done this since he was a babe...apparently I'm just tooooo slow at letting go of his food. Men.

Izabella uses her hiding spot, a coffee cup, as her toilet, I kid you not. She doesn't poop anywhere else, but in that cup. She has the cleanest tank. Ever.
