Tetra BettaMin Pellet Reviews

I'm feeding my crowntail BettaMin pellets; does anyone have any opinions on the quality of this food?

I vary his meals -- Monday-Thursday he eats BettaMin pellets, on Friday he eats freeze-dried bloodworms, Saturday is fasting day, and on Sunday he eats a pea in the morning and pellets at night. He lives with a platy and a molly, and I've read that their diets require some vegetarian matter - so that is the reasoning behind the peas once a week since the whole tank eats the same food.

Any issues with this?

The BettaMin food is not very good, IMO. I had it for my betta. Bettas are carnivores.. Check the first ingredient. It isn't meat.
I recently switched to Aqueon pellets, which are better but aren't the greatest. I like them, though, because they are smaller and my bettas have an easier time eating them and also like them a lot better than the BettaMin pellets.

Bettamin is fattening to them, really. And peas are kinda iffy on here. Protein is the most important.

My LFS (as opposed to petsmart) should carry these brands, right? I know you can't be sure, but that's more likely than petsmart carrying these, no?

Pretty much. Tasty bread and spaghetti with lots of cheese..

Now I'm hungry.

I think petco has new life spectrum, along with some specialty fish stores. Omega one is pretty much everywhere.
