Yay! Very happy for you! In the case of really severe infections and especially internal infections I would continue to treat a week past when he seems in the clear to prevent a relapse.

Remember to prevent this from happening again you need to increase your water changes and warm him up. http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=121838
