EHEIM Jager Aquarium Heater

Does anyone have any experience with these. Amazon has only a few reviews but Dr. Foster & Smith has a decent amount of good reviews. I am thinking of switching out heaters and these seem to be adjustable by 1 degree increments vs the 2 to 4 I find on most adjustable heaters. If someone has a 25W could you tell me the total length too? I found conflicting measurements online so if anyone knows I would greatly appreciate the information.

They're okay. I have the 250 watt and they do what they're suppose to. However, the 250watt is about 17 inches loooooooooong. Unfortunately I don't have the 25watt.

Thanks for the info because I am looking at the getting 2X100W for my 40G
Dr.Foster & Smith are listing the 50w as 9" but a website I found with a 25w list it as 13.1" so that seems a little conflicted.

I have them right now in my 10G, I got the 75W version and it alsmost fit my whole tank (Bottom almost touching the gravel) Also this is the tank I have (http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...AvailInUS%2FNo).

It works really well, and the calibration is really easy to do. Just read the instruction and it should be a breeze, it was for me lol. But if you want something short, get the Hydor Theo, but if you don't mind the size, and wants one of the best, Eheim Jager is one of the best for AQ heaters. I did a lot of research before purchasing this lol. Either Eheim Jager or Hydor, you can't go wrong!

I have a 25watt in a 2 1/2 gallon tank. I am very pleased by how easily I can adjust the temperature in small increments.
