Question Betta signs?

I was just curious because I've been feeding my bettas and they give me the puppy eyes for food. How do you know if your underfeeding or overfeeding your Betta? Will they show signs?

They'll look a bit bloated. They don't really need to eat much. A couple of pellets a day is enough.

Do they show any actions that state they're overfed?

Yeah they will keep going for the most part. After feeding my sorority after all the flakes are gone they still come up to my hand asking for more. You just gotta not give into that puppy face

Edit: For the most part they won't unless they are really overfed.

Watch the betta belly. If the betta has been overfed, skip the meals until the belly is back to normal. The link below has photos.

Don't feel too bad about resisting feeding. It's far easier to overfeed than to ever starve them. A day without food isn't going to hurt them.

They just love begging :< It's hard to say no but I promise, they aren't starving.
