Female bettas???

Where can I buy female bettas in bulk (6) I'm hoping to start a sority after Christmas and want to get sisters so the tail nipping will me minimum. Also it has to ship to Canada!

You may have a problem with shipping to Canada, really cold right now?Responsible breeders won't ship in certain temps.; hot or cold.

I agree. Try and find local breeders if you want siblings that bad.

When you can, check out Aquabid and Ebay, find a breeder that is close to you and see about msging them to buy some females.. a lot of times they sell them in bulk or give away spares to people who buy other fish from them. I bought a female once, and was given a female for free that was just as good as the one I purchased.. in fact, breeding her right now lol. So you can get some nice ones from time to time.

Have to agree though, some may not ship to your location due to the winter.. even with heat packs it could be dangerous.

Beckwithbabe; To my experience sibling females will tear each other apart as bad as unrelated sororities. It all depends on the individual female - aggressive or not. I suggest you treat them as if they were not related.

I got all but 3 of my sorority girls from PetsmArt they are all pretty laid back. Just 1 that has a little too much attitude.
I think you should be okay getting from there. I understand each fish is different with different attitudes an what not, what I'm saying is that I've had good luck from there so I don't foresee them being a problem for you
