Bettaboy Needs a name

voodoo sounds nice but we are to decide either Elvis or
Crono like the main character from the Chrono Trigger game SNES.

What do you guys think?

What is "hard water?" why not soft water ? o.O
could u explain

Hardness is caused by compounds of calcium and magnesium, and by a variety of other metals. Water is an excellent solvent and readily dissolves minerals it comes in contact with. As water moves through soil and rock, it dissolves very small amounts of minerals and holds them in solution. Calcium and magnesium dissolved in water are the two most common minerals that make water "hard."

I have recently got a betta who has one curled pelvic fin that is shorter than the other. I think this is often times caused by them being kept in tiny cups and not necessarily hard water, although it can be a factor.
I like the name Chrono better than Elvis, personally. Also, he is a veiltail, as previously stated. One of the fish in my avatar is a veiltail and one is a crowntail, so you can see the difference. :)

Your first Betta, huh? I was like you about 3 months ago. Now I have three Bettas. They're kind of addictive, as you'll probably find out. LOL

He's a beautiful boy with nice, bright colors.

Can't help you with the naming though. I'm awful with names. I've found that sometimes, it helps to try out the name a few times while looking at them. Sometimes, it just 'clicks' and you realize it's a good name for them.

Thats how I was with Bahari! Someone suggested the name to me on this site.. I had other names that I had thought of on my own, but Bahari just, fit.

He's a lovely veiltail boy, very popular colour over here in the UK, id say the curly part on his dorsal is due to bad water he's been in before you bought him and hasnt been cared for very well in the past. Also bad lighting can cause curly rays.

I agree he would be better in a bigger tank so he can swim about and spread his fins, you'll know when he's a happy boy as he'll build you a lovely bubblenest.

supposely he was in a 5 gallon tank but walmart mess my order and it's on delay so another week or two before christmas it should arrive. but a big vase is doing well since he's forming a few bubbles

or it is just air bubbles to breathe idk! xD
