Question Is it normal for your fish to change colors?

My Betta, Triton was a very light color when I bought him a few months ago and now he is darker and different colors? He's very active, so I dont think he's sick. Btw, He is my avatar.

Thanks for replies!

Its fairly normal for a color change to happen over time, yes. ;) Often once they are brought home to a nice, warm, clean properly-sized environment their colors will brighten and darken quite a bit, like it looks like your boy has done.

CB is referring to the sheet in the Diseases and Emergencies section, but since your guy isn't sick(though It does look like hes done some fin nipping, but I'm sure you're aware of that)its not necessary.

It still is a good idea to fill out the sheet something might be wrong.

If the OP wishes to fill out the sheet, thats completely up to them, but seeing as the betta is otherwise active and healthy and his color looks nice and dark, I don't see what could be wrong.
