Addicted...

Hi! I'm Michelle, and I'm a betta addict.

So today I walked into Petco to get some Prime, Stress Coat+, and NLS. I just ran out of water conditioner today, and I wanted to buy some pellets instead of the Omega One Buffet Flakes that I currently own. Since, Petco was having a sale, why not? However, I forgot that my local Petco gets new betta shipments on Fridays. I pretty much walked into a trap. Once I saw this little guy, I was sold! He's such an adorable elephant ear, and I had to have him. After dropping $20 on him, I realized that my empty 2.5 gallon tank should have at least a new plant to compliment him. Then I realized my heater for that tank isn't that great, so I bought a new heater too! I ended spending waaay more than I should

On the bright side, I get to shower this beauty with affection. I hope my other two guys don't get jealous lol. I love them all the same.

I started with just 1 and after a couple of weeks have ended up with 4 more.. and I still want more!! but gotta stop myself!

Went into petco thinking I was going to come out with a few 3 gallon tanks and plants and rocks. Basic stuff. Came out with 5 more fish. TO ADDICTING

Thanks Everyone! Hopefully, I'll stop because I have run out of tanks. But, Christmas is coming up, and hey who knows. What do you think I should name him? My other two are called King Mongkut and Prince Chulalongkorn. My mother named them, but she doesn't know I just got a new one lol.

I almost named my newest one Mitsu, meaning three, because he is my third Betta. Or Sakana meaning fish in Japanese. xD I am horrible with names.

Oh goodness, I'm absolutely terrible with names....I don't think I could be much help to you there. xD I just sort of name my fish after characters, because I'm just that geeky.

So I've decided to name my baby Okami after the video game. His coloring in his face reminds me of Okami's accents and his cute elephant ears reminds me of the curling of Okami's fur. Even his lavender coloring fits in with the water color graphics of the game. I'm officially obsessed with him! Better shower some love on my other two.
