If I am understanding your question....You want to compare your results to the chart on the right side.

I would make a water change with ammonia 0.25ppm and greater, however, tell us more about the tank-How big is it, filter, live plants, how long has the tank been setup and if it going through the cycling process, how much and how often are the water changes, temp, stocking and additives used.

What is the pH, nitrite and nitrate-what are your base-lines of all the water prams on the source water-with and without additives-this is to rule out the source water and skewed results related to any additives.

Hmmm it is a 21 gallon, aquaclear filter 30, 3 live plants, set up for 2 weeks with a betta and 3 platys added 2 days ago and the ammonia has started now so i guess it is starting to cycle now! pH is 7.5 and all the other things are still 0. I don't use any chemicals except for a water conditioner for water changes
