Exclamation Fin rot

My 2 previous bettas look like their fins are decaying. One has the top and the other one has the bottom. Pictures are below. I need help.

Hard to tell with dark pictures.. but being that you have multiple bettas in the same tank, most likely just nips - which is normal in sororities.

With rot you won't notice the difference overnight.. it takes a bit for it to develop, and then it slowly eats away the fins that are previously damaged. You will see black - clear edging that seem to be flaking off. I can't tell if that is happening here, but it does look to be fin nipping.

I agree with Myates, doesn't look like fin rot. Looks like they've been caught on something to me because they look like tears. IMO it's nothing to worry about, just do your regular water changes & keep an eye on them to make sure it doesn't get worse. I have 10 females in a 46g & I'm almost always seeing a new tear on one of them. I keep an eye on them to make sure I see healing within a few days & that it doesn't get worse.

Well I just recently bought 2 new betta females and a 10g tank. The fish have calmed down after 24 of putting them all in the 10g tank but I just recently noticed this and I look at the fish every day.
