My adf is caarazy...

We got our betta and adf today. Ever since we put them in the tank, they have been very active. The adf especially.

It's been about 5 hours since they have been in the new tank and the frog is non-stop. I know that they like to float, but I've always seen them at the bottom most of the time.

Is it normal that he is so active and near the top?

This guy has been floating and had his nose out of water. He has already jumped to the back filter compartment near where the intake slots are. We have an aqueon evolve 8. I thought about lowering the water level but then the water will be below the intake slots.

I hope he settles down and goes to bed! Pictures of our new friends to come soon.

I don't think the frog is sick..
Lowering the water level is a good idea.
I know my frogs have those random days where they just go crazy too, I'm sure they're fine! Mine really appreciate some floating plants at the surface to hide in.
