Oh I think I have the same filter or type of filter. Is it a canister filter?

Yes! It has this little tube that you put a cartridge in, and the water just flows over it.

Yeah it's silent as heck but things get stuck in it, if Prada gets sick turn it off or something for the intake part or he could get stuck on it. That happened to Sush when she had ick. Other than that it's a really nice filter.

Yeah i turned it off for now. I just took the whole thing out. I hope my little Prada gets his little issue worked out soon!

How big is your tank size?

Well my tank size is one gallon, but I keep up with my cleaning and Cadence is happy in his humble abode :). When I have a place to put a nice larger tank I'll get one but for now it works.

Thanks! Prada is one beautiful fish as well! Wish I could get a 2 gal but alas I cannot. I think I'm going to make room in his tank for a little log or something for Cadence :)
