USPS Mis-sent my fish :(

Need a bit of a pick-me up... I raced home from school today expecting to see my finned new buddy (HMPK) waiting in the apartment office, but instead I looked up the tracking number and lo and behold USPS sent my fish to the wrong place.. AHH!! I want to cry... anyone else have any experience with this and when do you think he will get here? I still hold onto the hope that he will arrive safely tomorrow and will recover from the ordeal... I used express next day mail with a delivery guarantee I am just upset and angry! Of all the things they could have lost... a live stinking animal :( :(

Send some fishy love and prayers to little dude that he will arrive safely tomorrow!!

Also, you may be able to get a refund since your fish wasnt delivered in the correct amount of time for ExpressMail. Its a busy period this time of year and packages do tend to be misrouted due to the additional holiday load. Like the others have said, the little guy should be fine when he finally arrives tomorrow.

I normally ship my fish priority and they have all survived just fine and it takes 3 days, so I imagine your's will be just fine even if it takes 2 more days, as long as he had a heat pack.

I would definitely call and express your dissatisfaction over how it was mis-delivered. You paid for it to get there fast and it is not.

Well he's made it!! Drip acclimating now and he will soon have his very own 5 gal :) Thanks for the support, I am new to this whole shipping animals thing and was very freaked out! The USPS will be refunding me, which is good. I guess I learned my lesson to not ship animals during Christmas season :)
