Questions about Quarantine (for sorority)

I will be starting a sorority soon and wanted some tips on the best ways to quarantine. After a lot of thinking I have determined that 2 weeks is a good quarantine period (if you disagree please let me know why). Unfortunately, I will soon be lacking space, and though I wish I could QT every girl in a heated 5 gallon bliss, that probably wont happen. Also, I cant really afford that many heaters, etc. Basically, I am thinking that I might go to the thrift store and get a bunch of gallon containers.

Is there a more efficient way to do this? How and how long do you guys quarantine?

Basically I don't want my girls to become ill BECAUSE OF the way I quarantine them. I want to have this figured out far in advance of receiving them to prevent any kind of problems. :)

Fill a larger container or tank up to about halfway and heat it. Put the females into 4L jars or containers, and put them inside the bigger aquarium. This will not only keep them quarantined from each other but also means you don't have to go and buy several heaters to keep everyone warm.

Also do not share equipment between the jars. This will defeat the whole purpose of quarantine. Ich and velvet can be easily spread by shared equipment.
