Getting to know you

Anyone have procedures to aquaint angelfish to each other without so much violence? I have eight blacks and eight golds that seem to hate everybody..more than a little.

Is the tank the proper size? If it's too small that may contribute to the problem. I don't have Angel's so I am by no means an expert.

Well, I have a)two blacks in a 55 gallon b)Two golds and a black in a 40 breeder c) Two golds in a 33 long d)two golds and three blacks in a 55 gallon e)one black in each of 20 gallon long f)one big silver and black marble in a 39 gallon tall corner. These fish are 4-6 months old.. no definite pairs, but a couple maybes. Including finnage, they average hand size. Oh, and another 40 breeder with two golds and a black. Ahem.

I was just asking because many times people do not have the correct tnak size for the adult version of the fish they are housing. No disrespect meant.

None taken Shellica..I'm told angels should be in nice size groups- mine were about to whittle down due to death and dismemberment, which really surprised me how could decide this one needs to go-this one,... I need to find someone who needs some nice looking, albeit mean tempered angels. Angry, but beautiful. Don't mean to be grossly graphic..sorry.
