Update on Shemar

So I've had this little guy for a few months now and he barely looks like the same fish. Not only have his fins grown (they are so big I rarely see him completely spread out anymore) but his few black spots have spread to almost his whole body. I hope color change is a sign that he is happy and healthy! I've got quite a few fish that have changed in appearance but none as drastic as him. He's one of my favorites. :)

Wow! He looks beautiful. Is this is normal function of a betta gaining maturity or is it something you did in caring for him? He looks great.

Yes, marbling is healthy! I love seeing the before and after pictures of marbles! I have one as well. I love his colors! Pretty fishy!!

Thank you all! So glad to hear this is a healthy change! I feed him frozen brine shrimp and omega one buffet pellets. I've been told that's one of the better foods so maybe that had something to do with it.
