Hello Everyone,
I have been on this forum for a while, but just found this thread. It is such a neat idea. So, I decided to share about myself. I am a graduate student in Sociology at a large public research university. I also teach an online class at that university, and an ICN course at a community college. I work part time at PetSmart, and got that job to 1) get a discount on dog food and 2) educate people about the pets they were getting. I have had many bettas growing up, but my last guy who died broke my heart. His name was Gerard, and he died at about a year old in 2006. I had lost a betta named Cow a few years prior to that and after those two I swore off bettas.
At my PetSmart the betta's are near register and one day I looked up and saw this little cellophane HM staring at me. He started at me, and stared at me. So, he came home with me in February 2012 and became Neptune. Since that time, I have devoted myself to him and his new sister Eponine (CT).
Besides Neptune and Eponine, I am also mom to: 2 abyssinian guinea pigs named Clementine and Odette, 8 dogs named Zeus, Ria, Sam, Bear, Elvis, Marilyn, Gable, and Lulu, 1 cat named Bootsie, and 40 horses (who I will not name all of).
So that is me.
