I have a planted 10g tank with one betta and 3 cardinal tetras (2 died)..the tank has several ghost shrimp, not sure the count. Anyway, I noticed my betta fish laying in his hammock more lately, and swimming around less. Water is fine, and he's eating great. It seems like he is hiding when the shrimp start getting active...these shrimp have really grown...could it be he's scared of the shrimp?? One or two of them are bigger than the betta fish. If I do take them out of the tank, what can I do with them? All my tanks are occupied right now! Aaargh..I have lost a couple fish from this tank and am now wondering if these shrimp are the reason...ragged fins on all the "sick" fish...hmmm. Help!
Here is a pic of one of the shrimp..just to make sure it is a ghost and not a marco!
