Question how do i reduce the filter flow?

Hey everyone! I have a betta in a ten gallon and I want to grow some floating plants in it. the filter is an aqueon filter rated for a ten gallon. I don't know the exact name of it. the water coming out of the filter makes the entire tank surface move. I want to grow water lettuce but every time I try they end up underwater. Any advice?

Try this:

It's a step-by-step guide to show you how to do it.

Are you the same bettaakapes from aquabid? If so, gorgeous fish!

I have no idea what kind of filter that is but could you put large silk plants in front to catch the flow? I'm thinking no by what u described but its worth a try?

Filter Flow

My solution was putting betta grass upside down and zip tied it to the tank. Grass is right over water exit, and it greatly reduced the flow+looks nice= and made with plastic produced for fish.
