Roger wants to gorge himself to death...

Hey guys! I recently added a corydora to my tank, and because Roger, my betta, is so quick to finish his dinner, I worried that there wasn't enough at the bottom of my tank to feed my cory. I bought sinking wafers for him, but Roger goes down and gorges himself before the cory can get to it. He's bloated up twice now (always goes back down after not feeding for a day). I tried feeding the cory after turning the lights off (when, presumably, Roger was sleeping!) but that didn't make a difference. Roger thinks he's a bottom feeder.

So, how do you guys feed your tank mates with a "starving" betta?

I am assuming the betta and the cory are two different sizes. Try setting up a tube or a pot that only the cory can fit into and put his food in there. Yeah sure your hand my get wet in the process but at least hopefully your betta can't get to it. Don't think there will be a way to move tubby some where else till the cory can eat.

Cup your betta while the cory eats.
