What a scare!

I came home from work (on January 1st) to find that my 10 gallon tank sprang a leak and Chester was lying on the gravel totally motionless! I was heartbroken as I got the net ready to get poor Chester out of the tank to dispose of him. Suddenly, he started flopping around, trying to get away from the net. I quickly got him into the cup he came in with some water that I had standing and he immediately started swimming around! Poor Chester was in shock but he was OK!

I placed him in a 1 gallon until I could get to Petsmart today. He is now in a new 10 gallon with his filter, heater, favorite plants and ornament (that he likes to hide in). He is happily doing the happy betta dance as we speak!

What a happy ending to an awful experience!
