Im so mad/sad!

Ok. So today I went to petco and got a brand new elephant ear betta. I was so and he seemed super healthy. Then I set up his tank. Put him in BOOM he dies. So upset. Taking him back ton and not buying from that petco. EVER. This si the second time PETCO!

Sorry to hear that. What size tank & was it properly cycled? Did you use water conditioner? Did you acclimate him properly? Was the temp 76-78F, you have a heater? I'm not meaning to be rude, I don't know your experience level so I'm asking question.

it was nice cycled and conditioned everything. The water was a good temp as well.
:( Ive also had a EE die from swim bladder from this petco. Maybe its the line. I have a 2.5 beta bow. Its fine :)

If it happened suddenly it sounds more like not acclimating them properly to the chemistry of the new water, instead just the temp. Sorry you lost them :(
