Soooo Excited!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,

Guess what! I spent all of last weekend renovating my betta barrack tank to now hold 10 bettas!!!! I thought it was a good time to do it because I only had two bettas in it so there weren't many to find alternative accommodation for while I was working on the tank. It is all done now and turned out really well, the silicone takes 7 days to set properly so I have to wait until Sunday to set it up.

Couldn't help myself when I went to town monday, I bought a new betta, he is a black orchid crowntail, the bottom half of his fins are white and I think he is carrying a copper gene which makes his black scales appear metallic. He is so pretty and I named him Eclipse as in solar Eclipse! He has a lot of growing to do yet so it will be interesting to see how he turns out. I'll post some pics when I get some. Can't wait to go shopping for more bettas!!!!! I can get another 7yay!!!!!!

Hey there,

Ummm gallons not sure I am in Australia so use Litres but it is four foot long by 30cm wide by 30cm high. The tank was originally designed to hold 10 bettas but when I got my giants I decided to give them more room and cut out every second division. I no longer own giants so have put the other five dividers back in. They will have plenty of room. Can't wait till it is all set up

That's roughly 29g. I'm so jealous! I wish I could have 10 beautiful bettas!

I feel really lucky to be able to have so many and cannot wait to buy some more!!! I used to have 13 male bettas a few years ago but I did not have a good set up then which made them so much work and it was hard to keep them healthy. This time though I have a really good tank setup which will not only make them less work but much easier to keep them healthy so I will be able to enjoy them more
