The place where you buy the pellets doesn't really matter, it's really the brand. Zoomed pellets seem to be full of fillers, I like some of their other supplies, though. I recommend Omega One Betta Buffet or New Life Spectrum Betta Formula. They're both high quality and are the highest rated pellet foods here. NLS is better due to the garlic and no wheat gluten. But Omega is still good. Try to get foods without cheap fillers like wheat gluten or binders.

In the past, Hikari was the best. But today, they changed the ingredients to make it full of fillers and cheap protein add ins. It's one of the worst pellets now, next to Wardley's. Such a shame they changed it. I found NLS in Petcos, but I bought mine online. I didn't know there was a Petco near me until I bought the NLS online, money wasted on shipping. -.-

Good luck finding it! :) The garlic in it enhances the smell and taste so the fish would find it appetizing. You can really smell it, it's so fishy.. >.> The garlic also has internal parasite repellant properties, the garlic is a win win.
