Angry Cycle Crashed?

Went to sleep at 2 in the morning yesterday and my tank was still running i just woke up at 10:30 and my tank was off. Someone shut it off. So that's about 8 hours. I don't know when it went off but has this crashed my cycle? Has the bacteria died and now i have to start again? I'm freaking pissed right now, waited for about a month and someone turned the electrical switch off.

6 hours is when the BB start to die. Swish the media in new dechlorinated water and turn it back on. Test the water for a few days. Add ammonia when needed as usual... Just try to keep the area dark, warm, and aerated so the BB would like to reproduce more.

okay so i was the last one to go to bed last night and my mom said she might have switched it off thinking it was the lights when she woke up in the morning so it's like 3 hours max and i'm still testing my water it has about 0.6 ammonia and i do water changes everyday

Did you do my recommended maneuver? The BB should've been fine.. You don't have to do water changes everyday in fishless.

It is? Oh, well then.
You don't have to do water changes everyday either way. The recommended maneuver should be sufficient to clean off the dead BB.

Not really, you're pretty mush stressing the fish out if you do them everyday. It's so much work for you too even if it's a 20%. Can you test your tap water and tank for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate? I want to see the outcome results. And what's your pH? If it's less than 7, the cycle would've been stalled..

i have 0 of everything in my tap water and in my tank 0 nitrites and nitratres while ammonia is about 0.6 before and after WC. Tank has been cycling for about a month. And my ph is 7, okay so how should i carry my WC then? and also algae are starting to form, is that a bad or good sign?

Usually 2 50% changes per week will be safe enough for the fish as OFL's recommendations.. Algae usually appears when there's a significant light source or there are excess nutrients in the water. Is the algae brown or green?
