how to disinfect ??

Hello all,
My betta just passed. His 5 gallon tank has almost new gravel, java moss, anubius(sp ) and also long green floater plants. Too long established to throw away. can you share how to disinfect the tank, driftwood, and gravel for a new Betta within a few days ? Heater / sponge filter ??
Thanks...

Diluted vinegar is a good way to clean it.

Do you know what your betta had? Depending on what it was you may need to wait longer than a few days to get a new fish.

He had swim bladder. I was told I wasn't feeding him enough, so I upped his pellet feeding from about 4 or 5 a day to 8. About 6 days later, and when bloodworm, from one to two. ..... bladder blew up , no poop, etc...
why would it make a difference / Just curious. If it is disinfected, what makes the difference He was about 4 years old.

Vinegar should be fine for decor, the tank and the gravel. Not sure how to clean plants but if it was swim bladder it should be fine.

You were definitely feeding him enough so whoever told you that gave you incorrect information.

If it had been something like parasites or ich I'm not sure if vinegar would be enough, some people prefer using diluted bleach and letting it dry in the sun.

Sorry to hear about your betta though :< never easy when a pet passes.
