How big are those 2.5's? I just bought a few of them and don't know how much room I should clear out

they are a pretty good size. Like 10 by 5 inches. Small enough to fit on a desk and still be able to use it but large enough to give your betta some room. I think mine probably has about 2 gallons of water in it. I think I went a little overboard on the substrate.

Quick update. Albus seems to be perking up. He's swimming around his tank. Mainly around his heater which incidentally does not seem to be working. Gah. Ordered a new one that should arrive in a couple days.

I can watch him now but the second a reach my hand over, either to grab something on the other side of the tank or to try and feed him he hides. I tried to feed him a couple pellets. He ate the first one and then nothing. Come on buddy, I got you the good stuff.

His fins appear a bit more open too. I'd take some pictures but the water is kind of a nasty yellow (IAL)
